This will be the first truly in-depth and first permanent exhibition in the United Kingdom exclusively dedicated to this quite incredible subject matter – which was also fundamental for Britain’s ‘Peace through Strength’ strategy.

It is a strategy which has meant that for 65+ years we have not had to worry too much about nuclear war… until now.

This exhibit will officially open to the public on Friday 1st May, 2026.
